We really only need a couple of things in life, a bed to sleep on, some books to read, something to eat, oh and don't forget those cigarettes.

In this series inanimate objects have life; furniture help summon your mind’s new understanding of your relationship to your body and your home. We have the ability to use our bodies without thinking about it. Just as the body decays with use, so do our possessions. Somehow your new television or stove has become an antique, and your once young body has become this strange box that fights your commands. My work is a hyper exaggeration the experience of living in a body. The body is a room that houses a soul.
I am inspired by cartoony magical realism, symbolism, cultural references and religious satire, dark humor and I keep a common theme of household objects and furniture being the main characters.
